backup drive shown as unallocated! HELP!

I recently ran into some trouble with my primary drive that had my operating system on it, i backed everything up onto my other hdd, unplugged that one and formated and reinstalled windows on the primary drive. Now this is where it gets bad. I just plugged my backup drive in and it doesnt show up in windows, i used partition magic to bring up info on it and it says its not using any space on the drive and is "unallocated"! i dont want to do anything but hold onto hope untill somone plays taps because Im seriously freaking out, there is TONS of stuff on that drive I cannot lose. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

YHPM! Looks like the drive may have develope a corrupted partition table. Stop doing anything before it gets worse. If you try too much, all files will turn into RAW file format like A00008.doc, etc.
