BackTrack login problem

Hi I downloaded the Backtrack disk and it works great until you get to the logon screen,everyone says that its either root or toor,but after you enter this it then asks for a password but no matter which key you press it doesn't come up on the screen,then you get a timed out message or if you press enter an incorrect password message.Any idea's guys.TIA
 
And as usual, the password keypresses probably won't show anything on the screen. All of those *'s are silly anyways.
 
Doh what a dummy me,when I typed in toor and nothing appeared I naturally thought I was doing something wrong as usual,works great thx X 10.
