I read an article recently that exposed backlights (on the top of the LCD monitor) could cause problems later on as dust built up inside the monitor (if there are vent holes).
I have a Dell Ultrasharp 17" and I was wondering if I could cover the vent holes somehow and still be safe.
I know that the Samsung 193P 19" monitor is sealed completely on all sides - this led me to think that I could seal my Dell and not have any problems.
Any suggestions? Maybe suggestions from people owning LCDs that have a tiny bit of exposed backlight at the top of the LCD that have/haven't experienced problems? Thanks.
