Backing up Win 10 OS UEFI with Acronis/Paragon?

I'm used to backing up just the OS partition with regular MBR hard drive. Now with UEFI, I see 4 partitions created for the OS. Is it necessary to backup all 4 partitions? And when restoring OS on the same hard drive, can I just restore the C: drive OS partition, or does information on the other 3 partitions also change?

why not use macrium reflect?

it is easy and backs up the entire drive and works great with win 10.

the free version worked great when I upgraded my hdd with win 10.

Those partitions are tiny, so what's the problem with backing them up too?

Not a space issue. Just wondering about the partition structure of GPT/UEFI and whether any information actually changes on those additional partitions as you use Windows (to necessitate always restoring them along with the Windows partition). Paragon sees 4 partititons (Windows partition + 3 others) while Acronis only sees 3 partitions (Windows partition + 2 others) - that was my primary concern in how much those additional partitions matter.

Either program will clone a whole drive, don't mess with partitions if you don't know their function.
As for why one sees more than the other, that shouldn't be the case, do you have a picture of the partitions in question, so we can see what they are?
