Hi,

This is completely separate to any previous postings I've done regarding OL 2013.

I had thousands of duplicated emails in my Outlook 2013 which I managed to get rid of using a program I paid for.

Now;

How do I back up my OL pst with this mind?

Do I do in a fashion so that only the updated emails, without the duplicated ones, are backed up to the same pst as before,

OR,

Do I create a new Outlook Data File (pst)?

What I am trying to achieve is that when I backup to pst it will only leave the emails I'm left with after removing duplicated emails.

I hope this makes sense and hope anyone can help here please.

I'm using Windows 10.

Thank you in advance.

I'm well aware this may seem almost identical.

Bear with me on this please.

Cheers

If the current file is cleaned of all the duplicated emails, all you would have to do is just copy the current .pst file to somewhere safe.
So you just close Outlook, go to Documents\Outlook File (this is the default location) copy the .pst file, it usually named with your email address (Again this is the default way)

Once copied you now have a backup.

That's great.

It's now going as I was hoping for.

Thank you so much.
