Backing up Outlook 2003.

On the last few times times I have formatted I have been able to run the export function within Outlook. I believe that just creates a.pst file that I imported after a fresh install.

This time I will not have the liberty of doing that because my mobo died (I think) so I am building a new pc within the next couple of weeks, hopefully.

So what I have done is connect the old drive to my laptop and went to :\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and backed up the .pst file that way. Is that just as good as using the built in backup feature?

Anything else I need to do? It will be a few weeks before I have a new system so I have plenty of time but would like to have everything ready.

EDIT: Just looking to backup Inbox, Sent, Folders I have created, etc. No need for settings.
