Backing up GHIII songs?

Are songs purchased in GHIII from the PS network store saved in the saved game data? Also I was curious if when you purchase something from the network if you can always redownload it without paying again. I noticed it does mark what you bought.

I am considering upping the capacity of the hard drive and don't want to lose the songs I purchased.
 
I think you can hookup a usb hard drive, back everything up and restore after the new hdd is installed...i was thinking about doing the same thing

That's the thing...dont' have a USB hard drive. So I am limited to a 2 GB flash drive. Which is enough for the save files but not for the game data. Looks like I am fine though.
