Backing up Android phone with broken screen

I have a OnePlus One with a broken screen and a new OnePlus One coming in this week. The broken one has a minimally working digitizer (maybe 1 sq.in is functional from a touch standpoint). The phone isn't rooted but the developer tools are enabled.

What is the best way to backup the existing phone and restore it to the new phone, preferably with all of my accounts and setting in place?

Can you still see most of the screen? If so just hook up a usb mouse to use as an input device.

Interesting, never thought of that. What software do I use to take a full backup?

Try helium or use adb.exe
adb pull /system
adb pull /data
adb pull /sdcard
