After reinstalling Windows Vista, I've lost access to the Recovery Partition on this machine. Gateway is sending a full recovery disc, but that means that my sister has to wait before I can prepare the new laptop for her and send it. It looks like I'll need to copy a boot sector image from a store display model at the electronics store.

I can easily Google a method to do this, but I want a recommendation from you guys for something quick, free, and effective.

Any ideas?
