background for dual monitors

Get a program called UltraMon, you can have 2 different backgrounds or you can span one without going through your video card settings, which may stretch your taskbar and distort the image. Stick with Window's Multimonitor setup but tweak it using UltraMon.

Good advice, though it may not be needed, depending on his graphics card, mine already allows me to do all of that using Nvdias Nview which comes with the drivers.

i have been using ultramon for like a year. i mean wallpaper not backround. sorry

Just make one big picture out of two in your favorite picture editor. It's what I do.

yeah i was think of photoshoping it but i run a different res on each monitor.

That's fine. You can still do it. Just as long as the actual picture part is the right size on the smaller monitor, the blank part won't be on the screen.
