Background Check Software

Conundrum

Senior member
I haven't really explored this option before. What I was thinking is, I'm a month or so away from launching a site I've been working on for the past few years. I thought to myself that it could be a nice feature to add the ability to perform background checks on users.

Is anyone familiar with this kind of software? Would I be better served by looking for a site that might perhaps offer a subscription for performing the background checks for my site? Or is there software out there right now that would be capable of (securely) handling the processing of the Social Security Number for certain information to be available to other users about the person in question.

Hopefully someone using these forums has some insight into this particular question. Any replies are greatly appreciated.

I would think you need so subscribe to some website or company to do that work for you. Performing background checks on users isn't something I think you could just purchase software for.

Also, I hope this is something you will publicly state on your website?

Oh yeah, I was planning on having it be completely optional.
