The discount only applies to the backcountry.com branded private label stuff, which is mostly apparel, jackets, hoodies, t-shirts, socks, gloves, etc. They have kleen Kanteens and coffee thermos canisters as well. The link I provided goes straight to their listing of the backcountry.com branded gear.

You can apply the code on the checkout page under enter redemption code, once you have the code entered you can go back to the catalog and add stuff to your cart to see the discount.

The code works on all backcountry.com brand stuff. The discount is calculated as the wholesale cost of the item + 10% not the msrp or the current selling price. If it is on sale you will get what ever is the better deal out of the code or sale price. So, yeah, the goat organic cotton hoodie is $20 with the code even though it is on sale for $26.

Thanks for the link. I got their top of the line soft shell that was on sale for $190. After your discount I snagged it for $85!!!! Thanks so much! All of the other competing brands for the same type of jacket are around $250+. That was the best discount on the site. I got their waterproof pants also for a decent discount but im still shocked about the great price on the jacket. By the time I purchased they were out of mediums but they have a great return policy. You can return a product at any time for any reason for a full refund.

Just bought Backcountry's Shift soft shell jacket last week. I bought it to replace my Arc'teryx Gamma MX that I lost and did not want to pay $300 to replace it. The Shift seemed of quality materials and build. Happy with it. Good find at employee pricing.

Also, I am hooked on their steapandcheap.com deals which are over 50% off. It is like a revolving woot for bargin hunting outdoor equipment junkies.
