Alright. I am truly convinced that Back To the Future is one of the best trilogies in movie history. All 3 are strong. The 2nd in the trilogy supports on the first one and the 3rd in the series uses ideas from both 1 and 2. Its a great trilogy hence my nickname. The Godfather's (as great as the first 2 are) 3rd part is weak, and I dont count Star Wars a trilogy due to the Prequels coming out. The Robocop tirlogy sucked except for the first one. The only other "flawless" type of trilogy i see as a great match would be Lord of the Rings. Let me know what you think.

Welcome to AT forums!

Firstly, take a look at this thread and this thread for some recent discussions on BTTF :)

BTW, these are my favourite films, so glad they finally released them on DVD :)

yea i agree it is a good trilogy.

i wish that the second Indiana Jones movie "Temple of Doom" was better or totally diff. cause then that trilogy would be badass. teh first and teh 3rd are solid and teh middle one sucks

ah yes the Indiana Jones trilogy... However they are in the process of making a 4th one, but still the trilogy thats out is really ranked up there. If only Willie, the screaming lady from hell wasnt in Temple of Doom. :)

Just a heads up for all the Back to the Future fans who bought the trilogy on DVD. Parts 2 & 3 are defective (The framing is wrong for some of the shots). Universal is correcting the issue for people who send in the defective discs (2 and 3). Check out DVDtalk for more info.

This applies to the widescreen version only....but I sure no one here bought the sucky pan & scam version.

BTTF is the best trilogy EVER!!!!!!!!!

Too bad they couldn't get Crispin (George McFly) for the second movie, he was great in the first. Worked out quite well though.

I think I like 1 the best by far, with 3 coming in second and 2 being last. #2 is too dark for me. I like my movies bright ;)

Matt,

"You'd better go ahead and enjoy this while you can, because if your evil genie goes ahead and grants your wish and I'm gone forever then the only one your going to be able to contend with around here is yourself, and when you really get to know THAT person, oh dear God, you'll scream so loud that Satan will want to tear up that contract he made with you at birth just so he can get some sleep."

Your signature...is that a quote from Scrubs? It kinda sounds familiar, and the sort of thing that Dr Cox would say to JD :) Or, is this what he says to Jordan?

Confused -- Good Catch! Yes its from Scrubs. Its what Dr. Cox said to Dr. Kelso one episode. Scrubs is a classic tv show, with a great music theme (if you listen to the whole version of it, not just the 20-some-odd second long version of it)

Yeah, i absolutely love Scrubs :) Saw it on the TV over here in the UK when it was first shown, but missed a couple of episodes, then didn't want to skip them, so started to download them off the 'net. It was only in the past 2-3 weeks that I've had a chance to watch them, i've been getting through about 2 per night, been laughing my ass off!

That's why I recognised it as a Scrubs quote, and now that you mention that it's to Dr Kelso, i remember it's the episode where he's trying to get Dr Cox to quit :) All good episodes! ;)

I think LOTR tops them in best movie(s) ever. They are so epic...much more then star wars IMHO.

I don't like the 3rd one as much but the first 2 are really good. I like Indiana Jones better though. Temple of Doom was bad on the other hand.
