Man...I'd rather be in computer class than being in Speech class later. I have class from 7:40-9:40PM EST...which really sucks.

Just got back from work.. Long day. changed our fiberoptic internet provider and the ppl who connect to us are now having problems, i had support calls ALL FREAKING DAY, they NEVER stopped... and now I get to go out to dinner with my girlfriend

Which means everyone else is doing that, and I'm posting away on ATOT.

Oh I have this Windows 98 class that really blows. First day we have to write a 3 page essay on our computer backgrounds. And the prof just sits up there and talks about herself for 50% of each class. We haven't begun reading from the books yet, but somehow they are trying to combine Windoes 98 basics (book #1) and a programming text into the same class. ?? I feel like I am back in high school! But it is required for my major so I have to deal.

Shows how much classes don't teach you... For me if it was important enough for me to actually bother putting in a Word doc rather than simply a text file I probably wouldn't save it to a floppy.... my solution is redundant copies emailed to two seperate accounts reserved for that purpose. I suppose it's redundant, but I've never been without an imporant document when I needed it....

For those of you in college, have to talked one on one to the instructors to determine if based on your experience you can get real world credit for the class.

Possibily even taking the exams up front and if you pass them, do not have to attend class.

I had that happen many moons ago, in a child psych class.
The instructor gave some of us credit for the class just so we would not show upand disrupt the class with real-world questions based on raising kids ourselves.

I was also able to cleanup on a mid level engineering physics class.
