When I woke up my back hurt, and I can't figure out how to get rid of the pain. Its not sorness or anything like that but more like a "knot" in my back. This certain place that hurts when I move my arms a certain way, or push out my chest and my arms back. Anyone have any ideas? Should I get my sister to knee my back? Anything..please..

So it works for you? Also, another thing that makes it hurt is when I turn my head ot the far left or right.

If you woke up feeling like this then I have a feeling you slept on the wrong part of your body too long. Perhaps it is stiff neck.

I'm trying to find a link for you, which shows this daily exercise you should do before even getting out of bed. Can't find it, though. Basically, you try and bring your right knee up to your left shoulder slowly, then back down slowly. Left knee up to right shoulder, then back down. Do it a few times. If it's ever painful, STOP! It's just a simple stretching exercise, but it works well. Had one friend do it after having limited success with a chiropractor. He found it did the trick and no longer had to see the chiropractor.

Edit:

IMPROVING FLEXIBILITY THROUGH PROPER STRETCHING
  • GLUT STRETCHES: Lying on your back, relax the hip on the ground and pull the knee towards the chest. Keep the foot relaxed. This is also a lower back stretch.
Exercise for a Healthy Back
  • Double Knee to Chest Stretch: Lie on the floor with your back relaxed and straight. Pull both knees toward your chest until you feel a stretch in your lower back, do not bounce. Hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
Lower back pain? This could help.
  • You lie down on the floor on your back. I mean a floor, not on your bed. It has to be a firm floor, unless you would not have a good stretching. First, to stretch your right lower back muscle, raise your right leg, and grab your right ankle with your left hand, and take your right hand to lock your knee. Then, with left hand holding the ankle, bring your knee to your face as close as possible. It will be impossible to touch your face, but bring as close as you can. Remember, this is stretching exercise, when bringing, you need to put a good amount of force. Feel it stretching. The same for your left leg. Why do you have to stretch your left side when you have tight right lower back muscle? Just because you have pain on your right lower back, it does not mean that your left lower back muscle does not need to be stretched. Pain on right only means that you right side muscle is tighter than left side. If you only stretch your right side, it may move to your left side. So, stretch both sides. Talk to doctors or personal trainers, and find out about back stretching. Do as many as you can, if you don't like the pain.

A good back massage works wonders. I also love chiropractors, but can't afford them regularly.
