back massager

anyone use those back massager things that you put on the back of a chair? do they work? how well? recommend me a good one?

Some are really good, some or crap and actually hurt, it all depends on you, go to a place that sell them and try some out (sharper image).

Bought a whole chair for my wife: HoMedics® AntiGravity Recliner Got it from Sears for about $150.00. It worked fine except for a couple things. The massage range didn't go high enough to massage the neck, which I would have liked, and didn't go low enough to massage the lower back, which is what my wife needed. Kinda useless, eh? Ours was returned...

I'm still in the market, though. If anybody knows of one that can reach your neck and lower back, I'd like to know!

kinda defeats the purpose unless you have someone to use it on you. doesn't it?

You could get one of those giant turtles and have it walk on your back. Please post pics if you do this.
