"2 for him and 3 for his friends on ebay at 75% markup... "

Wrong,
I even had to loan one friend the money for a few weeks so
he could get one.

I wouldn't be bothered selling them on ebay.
And my ebay name is in my profile if anyone wanted to check.

My order I placed on 8 Aug around 4:30, finally shipped today. I should receive on 17 Aug, but for $149 shipped, I can wait.

I received mine today :D
Man, the first thing I noticed was that the box was STUFFED! There is so much stuff in there...all these accessories and software. And to think, I bought this card just for gaming because of the price, LOL!

Maybe I should sell off the accessories to make it even hotter for me ;)

Hey guys I think these are refurbished or factory seconds. When I opened the static wrapper, i noticed the bottom of the PCI bracket bent and a fingerprint on the gold shiny part at the top. Weird thing is everything was sealed. The card works as advertised though. Another guy on Slickdeals said his came messed up too. Any other peeps have this? WtF ZZF! Also in catalyst mine memory is showing clocked at 477mhz. Shouldn't it be 480? Also on ZZF site is say exchange for defective only. They must have gotten these refurbs cheap hence the cheap price.

Didn't see the $217 price. Well, I have them if there ends up being a shortage. The end user issue will not be a problem.
