Sweet! I own one already and for this price I may just pick up another.

IIRC, these are being discontinued in favor of a newer version.

How does this compare to the Audigy 2 ZS? Is this geared more towards music than games?

I think I'd prefer to get the "newer version", if that's true.
Yes, this card is designed more for music listening than for gaming.

The reason to get this card is if you want to hook up to a receiver digitally.

If you just wanted a digital music card, the Chaintech AV-710 is cheaper and will work as well (or better)

The reason to get this card is if you need to get DD encoded from games to your receiver.

QFT, the AV-710 is outstanding for that. Also it's 24/96 mode for analog 2 channel (stereo) is superb.
