Back in Nashville! It's been seven years and not much has changed

Just here for one night, and I'm getting all nostalgic. Lived here for four years but haven't returned since I left in '98. I'm staying right near Vandy, and I can't see that much has changed, which is good and bad. I like this town and wouldn't mind returning some day, but there isn't much in my line of work here, unfortunately.

Any Nashvillians around?

Too big? Too small? Just curious. I like it because it's a mid-sized city with some nice attractions without a great deal of traffic. No state income tax is nice also (if that's still true) though the sales tax rate is a tad high as a result.
