I'm going to a small fireworks display tonight ans was wonder if any one had any tips?
Equipment:
Tripod (Duh!)
XTI
28-90 canon 4 - 5.6
quantaray 70-300 4 - 5.6

I know it's not much im getting a 50mm 1.8 soon

well it was not too bad i was told they would take off from one place but they came out another direction... UGH i was pissed

none of the articles i have read state any thing about approx. shutter speed they all say slow...
aperture size i have read to have it small as possible
low ISO
 
get upwind. f/16.


shutter speed really only determines how long your trails are. fireworks aren't really that bright and move quick enough that they basically expose themselves.
