I knew my stuff for the essays cuz nice people sent me notes and so I threw the facts out although in a bit unorganized fashion. i hate it when there's 2 billion things to say but only so little time (cant's pend too long on the essay cuz there are other portions), and so i guess my writing sucked a bit?

short answers were good and the ones i didn't know were very little, so that's ok

multiple choice (15%) i got slaughtered because I never read the book... how did I do the essays? well they were given out beforehand so I could research and collaborate with other people who DID read.. so MC killed me.

next final: 12/16 5PM

edit: I just need to PASS this course.... (P/NP). Been getting A- on my papers, and got a B on my midterm.. i dont know how i survive this class without reading at all.. so much for upper division history?
 
Eh, I have my final in 1 1/2 hours! I know I will survive that one, but the one immediately after that will be a pain.
 
I think I'm going to install CS:S or BF2 now and play for a few hours after I wake up. Then it's back to the library in the evening to studyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy (this time its engineering stuff). Gnite everyone!
 
these are some of the exact reasons I do not miss school one bit and would much rather be working than in school ...
 
The older I get, the more I question the whole purpose of Finals. I've taken 30 or more finals and it seems pointless to drive yourself mad over one test that you'll more than likely forget 6 months down the road. The coolest classes are the ones where the professor has no Final. Unfortunately, they are labeled liberal and unorthodox.

I remember my first final ever in high school... We had finals after the 2 week christmas break and people were freaking out during break. I think we had finals like mid January too, so there was a good 3 weeks if not 4 before the pwnage. I flew to Asia and brought 0 books. I didnt' start studying until I got back. I didn't REALLY study on my own and I just went to math tutor who made me do math problems over and over and I got it drilled into my head.

I think the only final studying I really could do on my own was Physics Honors and Physics AP where I would do all the old tests over with friends and we found copies of finals from the years before and did those for practice.

Otherwise.. studying? wtf?

My first final in college was quite BS too. I studied the day before adn that was it. I probably flunked it which was why my grade went from a B+ to a B-. I tried hauling ass in 2nd semester and I found myself playing STARCRAFT in the library the day before finals. I havent started studying for finals except the day before...

I didnt start studying till 5 PM last night when I went to the library finally. Gosh. I suck. Now I'm installing CS Source cuz I know i have a while till my next final.. I think I'm gonna die
