Back button sets cursor in Search box

Hitting the back button to go back to the main listing of a forum puts the cursor in the Search box. So when you use PgUp or PgDn or up or down arrows it opens up the AutoFill menu. On IE6, at least, which I expect a lot of people are using. It's annoying as f*ck.
 
This "feature" also forces the listing to move back to the top, since the Search box is at the top. It's a MAJOR pain, if you were reading a topic further down the list you have to PgDn back there, AFTER clicking the mouse outside the Search box to get the cursor out of the box.

I hate it that you don't return to where you were in the page. It's a major annoyance to be around topic 45 out of 50 or 80 out of 100 and then have to scroll down and search the topics to find the last one you viewed so you can start over at that point. I really hop that they plan to put it back the way it was.

I hadn't noticed that the cursor was in the search box, just that it WASN'T where I left off.

 
It also mess up the really cool feature of mozilla where I can type out a few random words in the link and have mozilla highlight the link I can then hit enter to follow the link.
 
This is happening to me and really bugs me. Seems like everytime forum software gets "updated" you lose more basic functionality. Please fix this! Thanks

Well, it's fixed now, but the reason it wasn't going back to the same spot on the forum page is that the cursor was going back to the Search box, which happens to be the top of the page. 🙂
 
Now if they'll only fix the FUBARed code that's hijacking the browser Text Size settings and making me need new glasses...
