1. you do not take either or computer/electrical engineering because you like computers.

2. It depends on what you want to do. Computer Science is very broad it can cover IT at times. IT is more business oriented.

you made a mistake. Luckily, the majors are broad enough that you can branch out of it. However, it takes some work.
