151 is great to toss in a mixed drink b/c of it's potentcy. Do the dude who can do 10-12 shots of it and just get a buzz....he's lying. I don't doubt he could do 10-12 in a few hours though. He'd be pretty ripped up, but I know some heavy drinkers and if this dude is 250 lbs he could in fact handle 10-12 shots in a few hours. It's really only like 18-22 regular shots or beers. I know some dudes who can drink 20 beers easily. Of course this guy will be lucky to live past 45 with that liver.
No, it's not. Regular hard liquor is not 50 proof. Regular hard liquor is typically ~80 proof, +/- 10.
so we'll do 70-90.

And the couple of fifths a night is pretty much pure bullshit unless he is an actual alcoholic. If a couple is 2, you're drinking 50 ounces of liquor, which is 33-50 shots depending if you're measuring regular (1.5oz) or pony (1oz) shots.
If he's talking 3, that number goes up to 50-75 shots.
First time I went to a party where there was booze (I had drank a bit previously in my life, but not enough to get completely hammered) was homecoming night, senior year. We were playing 'I Never' and it was going pretty fast. I remember taking about 9 shots or so (regular, straight vodka) and apparently took a couple more before, I'm told, I just passed out with my head slamming on the table.
I remember bits and pieces of that night, and I, apparently, got up about half an hour later and stayed up for a few hours, randomly passing out and the like, just having a good time singing to people and stuff.
Long story short, I woke up and my fingernails were painted. They had pics to show I was even awake and letting them do it, smiling and laughing about it actually. Of course, I fell asleep on a couch with someone other than my girlfriend (nothing happened) and my girlfriend let it go after seeing how slammed I had been. That was our second date 😱
Personally, I probably just got lucky that I didn't end up sick or dead, but we ate a few hours before so it was just the right time for drinking when I did it.
Anyways, 11-12 shots got me ridiculously messed up as a 170lbs, 17-year-old who had drank a few shots every once and a while without a problem. With 151 proof, you'd either have to be around 30 pounds heavier than I was or had been drinking regularly to end up not getting alcohol poisoning or throwing up--and you'd still need some degree of lucky timing if it's the former.
PS. I couldn't walk very well either and they ended up having to carry me to the bathroom when I had to take a piss. They dropped me and my face hit a bookshelf. I've still got the scar on my face to prove it.

I dont need anyone to buy it. I didnt say it was in 20 min. It was over the course of the night and I was pretty drunk. Dont need to prove anything to you though. I had fun and thats what matters
Novice drinkers don't drink to the point of getting drunk. They drink to the point of blacking out, vomiting everywhere, pissing in their pants, and getting brought home by the police.
I have no doubt in my mind that there are countless people everywhere that had way too much alcohol when they were a rookie.

You must have missed all the threads where I've explained that I'd probably shoot someone if they ran into me and were obviously drunk. I do not suffer fools that endanger others.
