Baby Website...best to host with Internet provider for more monthly bandwidth?

My wife and I welcomed our first bambino to the family last week 🙂 I want to start a website with streaming video ('crib cam') and photos, etc for the grandparents.

I usualy register the domains through GoDaddy (or whoever else is running specials), but given the bandwidth for the streaming cam, I would quickly exceed the monthy throughput...so what are my options?

I use Verizon FIOS and would have to see how much they would let me transmit, but is this the best way to set one up? ...register the domain...then redirect it (not sure how to do that yet, either) to a verizon IP where I host the files/streaming video? I am not sure how to proceed, so welcome any/all help/advice you guys and gals could offer a new father! 🙂

I would also welcome suggestions for cool HTML/java/flash tricks that would be cool on the website...photobooks...baby blog...cool scrollers...whatever🙂

Thanks, RossMan; those forums will be a great resource.

I'll try to find out how much bandwidth Verizon FIOS allots me (could be unlimited, or just given a warning if I exceed it...no idea), then compare to some of the hosting sites.
