Baby name wizard

My sons name Ethan is pretty popular. I checked names for my next kids. Alexi Marie if she is a girl and Jadon Christian if it's a boy.. they aren't too popular, which i think is cool.

I try and avoid the popular names. Based on trend, Madison about to overtake Emily. Would be cool if they had phonetically similar names stacked up, like Sean, Shaun, Shawn, etc.

Only top 1000 names are included, so, that leaves a lot of options out. 😉

Adolf really died down in the 30's... but Adolfo still hanging on.

Wow, Axel really on the rise, I guess a lot of 80's Hairband fans out there having kids. 😛

Poor Buddy, dropped off in the 80's. That 'My Buddy' doll musta been it's end.

Heh, I couldn't believe the other day when a lady called her kid "Dakota" then after seeing this thing I realize that a lot of names are based on trend.

Why is that?

Lana is making a come back. Maybe its because of Smallville.

Joshua went from
543 in the 50's
342 in the 60's
25 in the 70's
4 in the 80's
4 in the 90's
and 3 in 2003

WTF happened in the 70's to popularize the name?

Dammit. My name is Jason and I was born in 1977, the *height* of that name's popularity.

Ditto. Try having 6 Jasons in your 7th grade science class. Fun.
We had 3 Jasons working at my company a couple years ago, too. I'm the only one left now.
