I'm trying to replace the old baby AT PSU in a K6-2 system with an ATX unit. The mobo has a two-pin "Power On" case connector but the case is an old baby AT unit with the 4-connector power switch that links directly with a baby AT PSU. Is there any way I can make a wiring connector that will connect the case power switch to the two-pin connector on the motheboard? Thanks.

You will need to replace the power swtich in the case. That is the only way.

The switch that is already in the case is ethier always on, or always off. A ATX motherboard requires a momentary switch, that is to say the switch is only on while you are pressing it, and returns to the off position when you let go.

If it's a push on, push off switch, it is possible that a replacement momentary switch would fit the mounts of the old switch exactly. Check your local momNpop computer store to see if they have a standard ATX power switch assembly in their junk ("salvaged") parts box.
