How about the perps that know better, be publicly exposed for the inconsiderate children that they act like.
 
What should happen is that the offenders be given some type of incentive to stop the derailing. Like a month off.
Just locking the thread does nothing but derail a topic that Moderation could have fixed.

This thread in question is a poor example though as it is a completely asinine topic and borders on babe thread any way.

Given that the members that tried to derail implicit babe thread into a Babe thread an were long time members - they knew what they were doing.

Comments have been added to the offending posts for the membership entertainment and scarlet lettering
