Babbages experience...

Was in Babbages a few days ago scanning their declining selection of PC games as I notice some kid, 18 or so walk in with his girlfriend and walk directly up to the clerk and ask him "Do you know where I can download games?" The clerk stupidly asks "What, like shareware?" And the kid then goes "No, like whole games like mp3 files." :Q Finally the clerk gets it then says "No, that's illegal and if you were to do that you'd shut us down." The kid pesters the clerk for a little while longer then the kid finally leaves. After that entire shocking event ends, I walk up to the clerk and told him I couldn't believe the kid had the nerve to ask him that and the clerk just says "Yes." WTF? I leave then go to EB and find nothing interesting.

Can't believe some people...

Yeah, I used to like Babbages until I noticed they went all console. I now visit EB or Half Price Books 'cause they got the classic games I like.

So you're saying the staff at Babbages is not very helpful? 😉

ROFL!!!

I used to work in a Babbages..

Several times the manager would take out his "manhood" in the back room and show it off. He would also tell us about how he "experimented" with men in college. He bought my coworkers thongs and gummy "naughty bits" for christmas.

We would also get mad and punch the wall and throw things at us if we asked for days off.

I was quite happy when I quit that job.

LOL, good story.

There are times I have to support the RIAA's terror campaign -- kids like that will lead to even fewer new releases of PC games, especially smaller titles that barely make money now.

No, he worked in a Babbages. I don't think anyone in their right mind would trust this toolbag to manage anything.

Also, I call shenaniyams on his homoerotic story, because he's obviously trying to fish for attention for being a closet queer again.

Was that you or one of your multiple personalities that would get mad and throw things? 😛

What an idiot. He's asking how to steal games from an employee whose livelihood depends on selling games . . .
