From today's Mercury News

Celeron 1.8 (bare cpu) and the ECS P4VXASD2+ for $89.99

Also:
512MB CF Card $149.99-$20 MIR = $129.99
Maxtor 200GB 8mb 7200rpm $279.99-$100 MIR = $179.99

Eh, kinda warm after the past two weeks of hot deals. Maybe something interesting will come out Thursday.

Is 533 MHz FSB (i.e. 100->133) doable on that combo? Could be a hot deal...

Yep.. 133 is doable on this mobo. You just have to change 2 jumpers.. its default at 100..
I jumped on the P4 2.4ghz/533 (Northwood) processor combo with this mobo for $159.99.. from Fry's..

No problems with this combo... Just make sure that you get a 'new' mobo.
There's lots of mobo's they'll give you with stickers that are 'remanufactured' or 'returned'...

also.. you don't need the special Power supply.. This mobo does not need the 12v connector...
AS long as you have 350watts of power, your all set...

takes SDRAM (2 slots) or 2DDR Ram (2 slots) but you can only use 1 kind at a time.

I s'pose you could call Fry's 1-877-OUTPOST (1-877-688-7678) and ask them about shipping charge for east coast...

yea but its $109.99 + shipping on outpost so i'm pretty sure that since its a local sale thats what they'd try to charge me.
