Well, rumored MSRP for the B550 Tomahawk board was $179-$199. This one is $119.99, which is like $5 over MSRP.

The reason that I didn't put this in Hot Deals, is, it's basically not strictly a deal, because it's MSRP or just above. But I thought an in-stock indicator would be useful, I know a lot of people are looking for this particular board. (*)

The Asus B450-F ROG STRIX Gaming ATX mobo was also previously in-stock @ $129.99 (MSRP). I picked up another one of those, too. (Current using that one as my board.)

(*) Scalping 3rd-party sellers were pushing the price of this highly-recommended board up to around $300.

Tbh, at this point I better wait for B550 boards to come up. Even if it's much more expensive, you'll get what you pay for. Even Biostar's B550 boards look more superior than most B450 board.

B450-F ROG STRIX Gaming ATX in-stock @ MSRP @ Newegg.

Limit 1 per customer!

(I own, and am currently using this board. Great board, overall, IMHO. Very fully-featured for a B450 board. One of the few that can do PCI-E 3.0 x4 dual NVMe in RAID-0.)

They're not technically "deals", because they are just MSRP. But I've been keeping that thread as a heads-up, because of the popularity of those boards, and how much of the time they are scalped by 3rd-party sellers.

Edit: If you think that qualifies as a "Deal thread", then feel free to move it.

Considering all the shortages lately, maybe regular price might just be a hot deal.

should this be in Hot Deals?

If it was a deal i would think so...
But its more shortages and not a deal.

This reminds me of Athlon days, when my DFI LanParty board costed more then a intel board, until the P35 board came out core 2 duo steam rolled AMD.
