Question B550 equivalent to Z490?

Is the AMD B550 chipset equivalent to the Intel Z490 chipset in terms of level of features or is the the AMD B550 chipset closer to the level of features of the Intel B460 chipset?

For starters it's not like you can mix and match a AMD/Intel cpu and motherboard. You should really start with cpu and then decide on the chipset.

Find 2 boards that you like and then compare the features. Features you won't be using aren't worth much in the end.

Here's a side by side example.

I know that I can't use AMD CPUs with Z490 motherboards and Intel CPUs with B550 motherboards. If I go for Ryzen 5800x, I'm not sure yet if I should go for a B550 or x570 motherboard. I won't do SLI/Crossfire, I will add a PCIE-4.0 NVMe drive in the future but will still keep my SATA SSD installed as secondary storage, and will have a 6800XT or RTX 3080 video card in the future. I just want full bandwidth available for all devices I will install. Also I mentioned Z490 chipset because if I decide to get the 10700k, then I will be get a Z490 motherboard.
