Hey , so my friend recently got his new PC .
Ryzen 5 3600
Gigabyte b450 auros wifi pro
Rtx 2060
16gb Corsair rams at 3000mhz
And a 600w PSU.

However...
After we did everything , we can't get into the bios , the monitor says no signal detected.

The CPU fan is running
The GPU fan is running
Every fan and LED on the case are running ..
But the motherboard LED are not working + it won't post anything on the screen.

And another thing , we tried to connect the mouse and the keyboard..
But both are not running.

Is the motherboard broken?.
Or do I need to do something so it can work.
We tried the rams and the GPU on other PC and it worked fine .

I think the problem is from the motherboard , cuz gigabyte b450 auros wifi pro isn't lighting up , but everything attached to it is working ..

Does the BIOS version support Ryzen 3XXX series of CPUs?

If not, you'll need an older Ryzen CPU in order for it to post, then update to a newer BIOS version.

Yeah. You'll need to flash the BIOS with an older CPU, to BIOS F31 first (bridge), then use the ECU Firmware update, then flash to F40, then F41a. At least, that's what I had to do with mine. (I have a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi ATX, and a Ryzen R5 3600 CPU, although that CPU is currently in an Asus B450-F ROG STRIX ATX board, because my 240mm AIO WC kit was in that case, and I didn't feel like moving it, so I moved the CPU instead.)

Dumb question.
Does the PC boot into windows, or into windows installer?
Or it simply does not post at all?

Some monitors (Dell S271H for example) DO NOT support resolutions other than the native 1080p in UEFI. Nvidia cards display BIOS at 768p, so you will get no image if trying to enter the bios.

Sounds like the right answer ... been awhile but has happened to me before. Ultimately had Gigabyte support ship me a pre-flashed BIOS chip via Fedex overnight at no cost which was a nice surprise. (back when BIOS chips could be easily replaced using a socket)

Unfortunately from what I've been reading it sounds like even now lots of B450/X470 boards are shipping without Ryzen 3 support.

I know some MSI boards allow the BIOS to be flashed without a CPU installed but not sure about other options?
