i have a cheapy m/b that has no vcore setting and support 8x multiplier. it was o/c with 300A@450. trying to look for c533A to o/c @800, too bad c533A is no longer available.
upgraded my abit bh6 c566 to c633,850 to 950, take the c566 and put in this cheapy m/b.
it only runs at 83x8.5, 706. can't change the speed higher than 83 in bios.

now i remember how i o/c my c300A to 450 by the B21 trick, why not give a try on this c566 with a slotket. put a scotchtape on B21 of the slotket, here i come the 100mhz appears again, even 103, 112, 124 and 133 too.

C566@850 1.9v, intl hsf, cheapy slotket and cheapy m/b.

The pins must still have the same definition even if it is on a slotket....so it should work.

Normally most slotkets have a jumper for you to avoid taping the pin and select the 66/100 FSB though. Even the cheap ones.

i got a taisol hsf for this, but it just doesn't fit with my case, it is too big and blocks the power supply on the side, so i temp. use the the smaller intl hsf, until i get a better case that can have rooms for this bigger taisol hsf.

right now c566@850, 1.9v with case open.

for the slotket, i do have auto/100(for o/c) jumper, i tried that already and that just don't work!!!
