Not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but I'll give it a shot.

So I am in the market for an inexpensive wireless b&w laser printer. Under 150 preferably, even better if its under 100. Don't really care if its an all in one, mostly i just want to be able to do some occasional document printing. Speed and quality are not that important as I print maybe one or two things a month if that. Connectivity and dependability are more important. Also, I never had much luck with inkjets, as they run out or dry up at the worst time.

However, it has to work with an apple phone, two android tablets, one android phone, and two desktops. I know there is some software I can get to do airprint, but not really sure about how android does theirs.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
edit: footprint is also important, the smaller the better

I've owned mostly HP and Brother, been very happy with Brother and very disappointed with the declining quality (and expensive toner) of HP. Brother printers you can usually find third party toner for a lot cheaper.

I agree with you on the choice of monochrome laser over inkjet. Whenever I've had an inkjet that I use infrequently, the ink seems to jam up extremely frequently.

I'd keep my eye on the sale printers at Staples, Office Depot, etc. Almost every week they have a monochrome laser for well under $100. See if that has the features you want or if you can live with the features it has. Keep in mind the original toner cartridge is going to be a "starter", it won't last long.

I've been using a Brother HL-2270DW for about two years now, and I think it's an amazing laser printer for the money. You can print to it using USB, wired networking, or wireless networking. Print quality is great, and the thing has never had a single paper jam.

Amazon has it for $119.

Looking back at your post I see you need it to print from Androids and iPhones. You'll have to go up to something like a HL-5470DW for that.

Thats the one I had my eye on. It says you can use some app called cortado workplace to store and print documents wirelessly from your apple, android or blackberry mobile device, but i need to look into it more. And your right the 5470DW seems the next choice.
