I wanna know when they'll have demo units in store

edit: Bah, I've become less interested:
Video: MP4, 3GP, WEBM, AVI

MKV is an open/free container, so there's not much reason to not support it unless it's simply not capable.

That is pretty normal for most tablets out of the box. I've always had to install a third party app on any iPad or Android tablet to play MKV files. Hopefully the Nook has something in their tiny app store that can play MKV files though.

In the two years I've been using Transformer tablets I've used the front-facing camera exactly once. Never used the rear camera at all. Do people really video chat that frequently?

My wife video chats almost everyday using FaceTime. I rarely do but FaceTime is a must feature for her. Of course that's only available on iOS. I tried to get her to use Skype but it's no use. She won't give up FaceTime.

Nope, I've already checked. I understand they want their own little environment but they need to support it better. It's a damn shame such a device is destined to go underutilized.

MKV->mp4 converters are free and the time it takes is minimal. I use them all the time for video for my iPad.

The Nooks look good but it's all going to come down to the OS. I just don't see buying this or the Fire over a Nexus 7.
