We went to the T-Mobile store today with a printout of the wireless A1 ad for these two phones, some money back, headsets, and chargers. They said they could give us the phones for free upfront, we wouldn't make any money but we don't have to mess with mail in rebates, sounded good to us. $50 a month for their cheapest family plan, unlimited nights and weekends, mobile to mobile, etc. They gave headsets, but for the charger he offered it at half price, so we took one for $10
The phone is pretty nice, but I'm guessing this can be done with other phones as well, I'd reccomend printing out an internet ad from a site like gottadeal.com (see sig) and then taking it to them, they easily offered two phones for free, we did sign a one year contract though
