I've never ordered from these guys - and I know that you have to be wary - any good or bad comments from these guys? I'm ordering something relatively hassle free I hope (an ultrapod II). .

I fvcking hate the store. They treat you like a criminal from the second you walk in there. Ordering online is no problem though.
 
Reputable, but it takes forever for them to ship stuff out. It took 3 days before they even shipped out my last order, among others.
 
we get most of our equipment from them at work, not the best prices allt he time but good prices and good service for the most part
 
I've ordered through these guys several times and have nothing bad to say. My first order was a brand new Sony surround receiver which at the time retailed over $500. Got it from them for $375 shipped.

Great company to deal with!!!
 
i bought from them. only annoyance is that they had me call them b/c the billing and shipping address didn't match. otherwise, no problems.

yeah, the one they sent me was about 3 inches thick!

They are one of the most trustworthy camera stores in the country, maybe the most.
 
I bought a Panasonic PV-GS150 Camcorder from these guys before Christmas. I ordered in the morning (West Coast time) and it was at FedEx that night (East Coast time). I was all geared up and ready for them to call me to offer accesory kits and crap, but they never bothered me at all.

Been ordering my photo equipment from them for the last year. I trust them plus their prices are pretty good. No hassle.
 
They can be trusted to sell you exactly what you order, but they don't have the lowest prices advertised most of the time... they will however bargain with you if you go into the store & then you'll pay close to rock-bottom.
 
It's funny to walk into the store, because almost all the employees are Hasidic Jews. With the black hats, coats and beards you don't expect them to be selling hi-tech equipment, but it's a great store as far as service goes, and the prices are definitely reasonable. Ordering online... I have no idea. If I ever needed something I'd just drive into the city.

I didn't have much of a problem there... they do have a somewhat elaborate checkout system to prevent (I'm assuming) theft, but to me that says they are professional and know what they're doing. It certainly didn't leave much of a negative impression on me, if it left anything at all.
