B-52 around the world ?

Appearantly, according to the History channel, a B-52 circled the globe non-stop in 1952. Anyone have any info on this? I assume that this included inflight-refueling.

I always assumed it was the plane that is hanging in the Air & Space museum in D.C.(Forgot the name)

man, those planes are older than my mom. 🙂
So, if they came out in 1952, I wonder how long they were working on them. 1952 was only 7 years after the end of WWII.

They have one at the Yankee Air Museum at the Willow Run Airport. This thing is huge, but inside you have to walk bent over to get around.
