anyone able to remote desktop to a computer running azureus and actually get access to it? I thought I'd be able to see the progress of some torrents by going remote desktop to the computer but it's as if azureus is not running. I can run over to the other computer and confirm azureus is running, and I am positive I'm logging in with the same profile...

The thing about remote desktop is that it opens a new session even if you're logging in as the same user. The only way I can think of that you'd be able to see Azeurus is to run it via remote desktop and close the application and then just open the same session when you want to check up on it or use a VNC server & client.

It works perfectly fine for me. The only thing that bothers me is that whenever I logon through Remote Desktop from my laptop, Azureus gives me a bunch of pop up warnings about UPnP ports and such. I think that's because I also have Azureus installed on my laptop. But it doesn't really affect the operations of the Azureus on the server. It's just annoying that's all.

I don't know why your Remote Desktop and Azureus are giving you problems. But, if you want me to test any settings in XP or Azureus just let me know.

I'm running WinXP PRO w/ SP2 and Azureus 2.3.0.6.

edit the shortcut to remote desktop and add /console to the end, then when you log in to the other computer it will get locked and you will see the actual desktop
