Azom Laptops

Hi guyz,

I am planning on buying a laptop from Azom systems and since it is a relatively new company in India which makes custom laptops, I would like to inquire about -

1. Can I trust them?
2. Do they deliver what they advertise?
3. How is the customer service?

I dont mind the 3 weeks build time which it will take if I do order it.

They are (yet another) Clevo rebrander/reseller - if you look for review of clevo or Sager laptops you'll get an idea of what they are like. Looks like their models are the P750DM (NP9758) for the 15.6" and PM770DM (NP9775) for the 17", both of which use desktop processors, so expect fairly terrible battery life and a fairly noisy computer.

I can't speak for the quality of that particular company, but the basic laptops themselves are fine - I have a P150EM from a few years back, and it's still working perfectly. Just be aware of what they are. Gaming laptops are not designed for use on the go, they are big, bulky and powerful, with average to terrible battery life, and they really need to be placed on a solid surface when gaming; since the intake vents are generally on the bottom; and they cram a lot of powerful components into a small area, meaning loud fans to try and keep it cool (again, while gaming - not when sitting at your desktop). You're essentially paying for a mobile desktop with a built-in UPS.
