Ironic quote of the article Aziz states about he and Saddams arguements about the Iranians developing WMDs "Every time I brought up the issue with Saddam, he said, 'Don't worry about the Iranians. If they ever get WMD, the Americans and Israelis will destroy them,'" the Post quotes Aziz as saying.

Or If they just suspect you to have them Saddam you'll be living in a cave the rest of your life. :) I guess He knows now he should have proved to the world where his WMD projects went to since he himself got the BOOT!

Full story here.

And the Iranians still have their weapons and are in the process of becoming a nuclear power.
What is even more ironic is that Iran has obvious ties to terrorist groups, WMDS, an oppressive gov't and the US didn't do a damn thing to them.

This follows bush's foreign policy of might makes right perfectly, get enough might and you will always be right.

They don't brainwash their youth into hating America. I give them 10 to 15 years tops before the Ayatollah is overthrowed again...

Saddam and his death squad made the Iraq situation hopeless

And North Korea isn't hopeless, you've got a crazed maniacs there running things for the last 50 years? You've got religious nuts running all over Iran. Iraq had a leader that was the least volatile of all three countries, he wasn't a religious nut, and all it seems he wanted now was to have his massive ego massaged from time to time and he would have been under our finger.

Our hands are tied until China steps up to the plate. Think of it if Vicente Fox went insane, developed nukes and said he was going to blow everybody else up. Wouldn't it be our responsibility to take care of it or give the go ahead for someone else to?
