AZ11 mother board 1000 athalon CPU freezing up comp HELP!!!!

i have just up graded my comp with an az11 MB athalon 1000 cpu
i have a prob with restarts.as soon as windows icon comes up and go to green screen,at times it will just start over.
also i cant run some programs.(frogger ultima lX)these programs will freeze it up very fast.
please help

What OS are you using also have you tried going into Windows safe mode does it still happen?list your PC specs like video card etc ,what Via 4 in 1 drivers are you using also do you have AMD approved PSU,is your temperature ok,check for IRQ conflicts?

no i havent tryed safe mode but will do that next
4 in 1 - 4.25a (newest one)
what is a PSU???
i have looked at IRQ and didnt see any conflicts.
stealth 3 540 pci with newest microwsoft driver
16pci soundblaster
windfax modem
