I got a Athlon 1.3 today. I o/c it and it can only go to 11x136=1496. Is that a too little for an AYHJA Athon 1.3? Is there any method to o/c more? I don't think it is the temperature problem. Thanks.

It's the sound an AMD prossesor makes when it karate chops an Intel.
AYHJA!!

Evo7, did you try and increase CPU voltage? and I assumme you have decent ram/cooling. 200MHz on an overclock seems to be the norm nowadays. Not like the "old" days when we were getting 40-50%:(

Seriously, I'd really like to know. I'm about to invest in a 1.4 Ghz processor (first time builder) and at some of the online stores I've visited they have "AYHJA" listed in the processor description, but none of them explains what it means.

It's just the code on the chip, that's all. You must have by now heard of "AXIA" Athlons? If not where have you been? :) Look at it in the same way as those, but only the 1.3 parts and up have this new code. Generally you're looking at at least 1500Mhz overclocking speed, some have reached as high as 1700Mhz with just air cooling.
