AXP 2400 limiting GF6600GT??

Is an athlon 2400+ with an Asus A7V333 with 1 GB of RAM, bottlenecking a Geforce 6600GT video card significantly?

Yeah, it looks like a bottleneck, but not such a huge one. The 6600gt is a midrange card, so don't worry about it too much.

Actually this board works only with AGP 4x,is this an importan bottleneck for this card , or is more fault of the CPU?

AGP 4x and 8x is not much different in terms of performance - basically if you have to resort to AGP textures, it's gonna be slow either way.

Actually, I also have the same board, and I just remembered I need to sell mine since my new AN7 is already on it's way here.

I think that it could limit your performance. I also think you should be around the 2800+ to 3200+ range. As far as the AGP speed goes, its not going to matter much unless you run games at high details, which might put the AGP 4x bus under load, but since your card is midrange, and it can't run at uber-high resolutions (i.e. 1600x1200) playably, you shouldn't have to worry.
