axim can't connect to my netgear router

i just received my dell axim x50v and tried all last night to connect to my netgear router (mr814v or something like that). i enabled the access list (uses mac addresses) and correctly entered my axim's mac address (the router "saw" the dell axim and vice versa).

however, i was unable to connect to the internet. i removed all restrictions on the router and still was not successful. at that point, i thought something was wrong with my axim. however, when i went to work, it recognized the wireless network there immediately. i'm going to test out the axim again by going into City Hall Park (which offers free wi-fi). i'm sure it will work.

SO.... it seems that something is wrong with my netgear router. any and all help would be appreciated!

thanks. - ronnie.

HA you punk. im looking for a real answer. plus i just checked the wi fi in city hall. it works perfectly.

there's something definitely wrong with the router.

Do a hard Reset on the router so everything is set back to default, ususally a reset on the back with a paper click for 15 sec will do it.
