I know I'm either going to get a tbird 1.2 or 1.33 but should I get normal stepping AXIA or AHYJA? What advantages does stepping have other than being very overclockable? Do these new chips also run cooler or something? If they are really as good as they are hyped and have numerous advantages does anyone know a good place to buy one online?

Somebody please help an idiot out!

I know this thread has probably been beaten to death but I am essentially a newbie and am stuck on which processor I should buy. So any of you hardware gurus out there, if you could give me some advice or info it would be appreciated.

I would recommend the 1.33 AYHJA's. The AXIA K or Y my friend has won't post past 1540. As you can see, i did far better.

A new stepping will typically mean better yields. However AMD could still be binning them....
