Anybody changed heastink from either FOP32, FOB38, Alpha 6045, Taisol Copper Base, or similar class to Thermaltake AX7 ?
How much improvement do you get in idle and fullload ?
Tell me also your previous fan if you use non-standard fan, and your current fan in AX7.
I still have Duron 700@1008 at 155FSB. Changed from ALpha 6045 w/ 27 cfm 60mm --> Taisol non-copper base w/ 50cfm 80mm fan --> FOP38 with 50cfm 80mm fan ---> result: all same temperature in idle and full.
Idle at 51-52C and full at 56-57C. Wonder how much improvement I will get if I change the heatsink to AX7 for this Duron.
Legionhardware's article says AX7 + 50cfm fan will not be much difference from the small light FOP38. Hard to believe for me.
