My sister's doctor started inducing labor at 5am this morning/broke her water, and she was dialated to 4cm by 7pm this afternoon. From 7pm to 10pm, she ceased dialating, so a c-section was needed.
Riley Brooke ? 7lbs 10oz ? 20.5 inches @ 10:25pm on 6/30 via c-section. :) :) :) :) :) (the pictures are of my sister and her boyfriend) http://www.knology.net/~rbloedow/Becky%20Baby/

Well, her boyfriend had been up for almost two days when the pictures were taken - he's not that good looking to begin with, and he starts to looks a little scary after sleep deprivation ;)

My sister, sadly, is only 17 :( Her boyfriend is 18. She became a statistic tonight :( But, with good family and moral support, I think that they will all turn out fine ;)

I feel bad for my mother, she became a grandmother today at the age of 40.

when the baby gets into college, your mom can brag about she having a grandchild in college and she is only 58 :)

My fiancee's mom became a grandmother at the age of 43, but her son was 25 when her grandson was born. She almost became a grandmother 36 and then again at 38 or 39, but it was "avoided" by her children those two times. And of course, not only are her son and his girlfriend not married, but they don't get along particularly well, and they'd only known each other abouta year when the baby was born.

My fiancee's family is even more screwed up than my dad's.... somehow we managed to come out all right, though.

No more than too many adults who can't handle their kids either. That said, I recommend adoption if you ever have children

The baby is going to be raised by my family, not my sister alone.
