let me know how these mixes sound on your guys' systems/headphones, whatever. not really lokoing for critique on song structure/song writing/theory, etc... its hard house/experimental/minimalist/trance type of stuff.... trying to break into the producing scene with a killer live show set up... more will come later. they are relatively short songs right now.

the rhythm section is just samples, but the synths are all original. feel free to download them all... please let me know how they sound. i just want to make sure the mixes are okay.

forgot to add that they are all softsynths. i plan on getting a pretty wild touchscreen synth controller so i can do these live. the getup is going to be pretty wild

Work headphones are doing them some decent justice. Will have to throw it in at home to give you some actual feedback involving lows, etc.

Edit: Do you have any longer cuts?

listening to the flight right now. Are you using soft or hard synth? I picked up a MicroKORG a couple months ago and am loving it :)

Yup.. all soft synths. I am planning on getting a MicroKORG for live application and probably another synth for shits and giggles. Lots of the live set up will be based off of simply a laptop and two huge LCD screens.

Nice. I'm on my laptop, which has decent sound quality, flat EQ, and am using my bass heavy IE triports.

The Jolly's bass hits are much more present than The Flight's or The Night's. As for low end, all I'm really hearing are the bass hits. None of the synth is really coming out on the low.

Just started The Grinder. The grindy synth line is decently low, but the volume seems to shift around, and the bass hits are much quieter than the other songs.

I have a few longer cuts. Typically the songs are about 5:00+

Especially in the grinder -- kind of meant to be played on a big club/pA system. i'm going to go test it them out on my buddies 2,000W PA soon :) ... pretty stoked....

I'll do the same. My PC at home is hooked up to some nice speakers and has better sound quality, so I'll give the songs a listen there as well. Should be about three hours or so till then.

Saw BT do this in June. I'm wasn't a huge BT fan going in, but after hearing and seeing that set I became one. Interested to listen to your effort here when I get home.

It is definitely going to involve me practicing my sets a lot in my living room... heh... deadmau5 is a big innovater here and am interested in his live set up. BT is also big innovater here..... i'm really hoping that it goes well.

i also just noticed i uploaded the wrong version of "the night" ... oops... i''ll fix that later when i get home from work..
